Tidewell Hospice understands the priceless value of a name. To hear a name evokes memories and reminds us of special times with loved ones. Tidewell extends the opportunity to families and friends to honor their loved ones or establish a family legacy in a special and lasting way with commemorative naming opportunities.
Each of Tidewell’s seven hospice houses have naming opportunities available. Donors have a variety of choices with these naming opportunities, and Tidewell’s Philanthropy Staff will be happy to discuss which opportunity would be the best option for you. Regardless of the level of support you provide, with a commemorative naming opportunity your loved one or your family legacy will be honored through your gift.
Named Endowment Funds
Creating a Named Fund is one way to recognize a unique person, company, or endeavor while providing financial support for Tidewell now and into the future.
DETERMINE THE PURPOSE OF YOUR FUND
As a donor, you may designate the funds be distributed for a specific purpose or request that support be directed where need is greatest.
DECIDE WHEN AND HOW MUCH TO GIVE
To establish a Named Fund, a minimum investment of $50,000 can be made through a donation of cash or securities or through a bequest in your will. The money in an endowed fund is invested in perpetuity and the income generated provides support for your program priorities. Friends, family and colleagues can contribute to your Named Fund through regular gifts or to recognize special occasions.
NAME YOUR FUND
A Named Fund may be established in your own name or in honor of a loved one. Many donors choose to name their fund after parents, spouses, children or others whose names mean something special to them. Donors can also remain anonymous and select a name that reflects the fund’s charitable purpose.
