Healing for Grieving Tidewell Hospice Families

Tidewell Hospice offers 13 months of grief support free of charge for the families of Tidewell patients following their loss. This support can come in different forms including individual counseling, phone support or groups. Talk to your hospice team or call (855) 843-3935 to learn more.

Community Grief Services

Tidewell Grief Care provides grief counseling to anyone touched by grief in Southwest Florida (Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and DeSoto counties) free of charge. Includes counseling for children and adults, those who have experienced traumatic deaths, received a diagnosis of a serious illness and perinatal loss.

Tidewell Family Grief Center

The Tidewell Family Grief Center in Ellenton delivers hope, healing and improved mental health for those coping with loss throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties. The Center provides all-encompassing grief care for children and adults free of charge. The Blue Butterfly children’s grief program has dedicated specially-designed spaces for “Littles” (ages 5-8), “Middles” (ages 9-12), “Tweens” (ages 11-14) and “Teens” (ages 15-18) with age-specific programming.

The outdoor space is as special as the inside. There are beautiful gardens to explore and future plans including a labyrinth and basketball court. Learn more how you can contribute to these new facilities at the Grief Center.
